| Taking the old name of 50's "Giulietta", this model is the most thought of old génération before electronic ignition :
gearbox in rear position, so total equal pound on frond and rear wheels, comfortable berline... but race beast if you want, no archaïsme but no risk of electronic problem.
Pure propulsion without any automatic correction : you must pilot it !
In this 1600cc body, the heart is the famous "1750cc", called 1750 on the old Giulia or Bertone coupe, and called "1800" in new nuova generation, but the same : 1779cc, 4 cylenders 122 italian horses, very rageous, "veloce", said in italian.
avout the carburators ; 2 bodies, but 4 admission valves, one by cylender, opening strictly in the same time as soon as you just touch the accelerator !!!
Dobble in head, distribution by chain.
Extremely quick reactions and light sensation (arround 1000kg). Dances on the road !
When we bought this model, it had not his original motor, so we decided to make all the car better.
It has 2L Dell'Orto carburators and clutch, modified ENZA exhaust (one tube instead of two), and we are going to put different air admission (KN if we have money...).
You'll laugh and say "ha, only 122cv !", but
BUT : you are in 5th speed, at 1000 Rear/Minit, you put you foot on the accelerator, and it leads you at 190 Km/H without touching anything. For a manual box.......

So there's not a big power, but it is efficient and BIG sensations.
With this motor and carburators, you can easely follow a GTV 6 cylender 160cv !
The was (a pity it's impossible to find now) a very rare version with a turbo. Just imagine the same with turbo, without any elecronic assistance... It was too dangerous).
